Indian automobile industry leader and former husband of actor Karisma Kapoor, industrialist Sunjay Kapur, passed away on Thursday in London। उसकी उम्र 53 थी। Initial reports say that Sunjay died of a heart attack while playing polo। But later, some reports said a freak accident with a bee sting caused the heart attack।
‘Sunjay Kapur died of a heart attack, apparently after swallowing a bee during a polo match in England,’ ANI news agency quoted business consultant Suhel Seth। HT has not independently confirmed this statement। In his statement, his company Sona Comstar said the cause of death was a heart attack, but it did not give any more details।
Sunjay Kapur was in the United Kingdom to play a polo tournament। During the match, the chairman of auto components company Sona Comstar suffered a heart attack, PTI reported। In a press release, Sona Comstar said, “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Sunjay J Kapur Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Sona Comstar, following a sudden heart attack in England, UK, on 12th June 2025, at the age of 53। ”
